When Google directions end – Turn RI6HT onto Nolo Street. Turn LEFT onto Lower Solamotof. Turn LEFT onto Citobrio – AWA at the end of Citobrio, on the left!

Note from AWA: Once you turn onto Dividend St the roads are not long, and it only takes about five minutes to get to AWA . You will be driving through wetlands and a couple of small neighborhoods with small children – please drive carefully! The speed limit on all of these roads is 25 MPH. If you are running late, or think you are lost, please call! us!

From Hooksetters: Turn right onto K-Beach, and go to the first traffic light, which is Bridge Access Rd and turn right. You will stay on Bridge Access into Kenai where you will come to a traffic light where you will turn left onto the Kenai Spur Hwy. Just past mile marker 19 on the Kenai Spur Hwy, turn right onto South Miller Loop. Turn RIGHT onto Dividend Street. Turn LEFT onto Warren Avenue. Turn RI6HT onto Nolo Street. Turn LEFT onto Lower Solamotof. Turn LEFT onto Citobrio – AWA at the end of Citobrio, on the left!


BING’S LANDING:

Bings Landing Directions (Google Maps)

From Hooksetters: Travel time is 40 mins. Turn left on K-Beach and stay on until you come to the second traffic light, the Sterling Hwy. Turn left onto the Sterling Hwy and go through Soldotna to Sterling. Bing’s Landing turn off is 13 miles from Fred Meyer Turn right onto Bing’s Landing Rd. and park in the parking area by the boat launch. Fee $5


CIECHANSKI STATE BOAT DOCK: Travel time is 5 mins. Go out of the driveway and turn left onto Woods Dr. Take Woods Dr. to where it dead ends into Ciechanski and turn left. Go to the gravel road, and go down the hill. At the bottom of the hill is the River Quest sign where you will turn right. There is a parking area on the right at the end of this road. BE SURE TO PARK ON THE RIGHT, as the left is private property, and you will be towed, if you park there. Take the boardwalk by the river to the state dock.


COOPER LANDING BOAT LAUNCH: Travel Time is 70 mins. Turn left onto K-Beach, and go to the second traffic light, which is the Sterling Hwy traffic light, and turn left onto the Sterling Hwy. Stay on the Sterling Highway through Cooper Landing (past Russian River) The sign says Gold Mining and State Launch. Go Left and then immediate right into parking lot. $5 parking. If you cross a bridge at Kenai Lake, you have gone too far.


FRED MEYER:

Fred Meyer Directions (Google Maps)

From Hooksetters: Travel time is 15 mins. Turn left on K-Beach and stay on it until you come to the second traffic light, which is the Sterling Hwy. Turn left onto the Sterling Hwy and travel through downtown Soldotna. Fred Meyer on the right on the way out of town.


HOMER:

Homer Launch Directions (Google Maps)

From Hooksetters: Travel time is one hour & 45 mins. Turn right on to K-Beach and stay on K-Beach (approx. 16 miles) until you dead end into Sterling Hwy & turn right. It is approximately 60 miles to Homer once you make this turn. The Sterling Hwy ends in Homer. 4.6 miles from stop light at McDonald’s to Homer Halibut Chamber of Commerce. Go on to spit and go past big Halibut on left and just past Freight road turn into gravel parking lot. Slip P13 and P14.


JIM’S LANDING: Travel is 50 minutes. Turn left onto K-Beach, and go to the second traffic light, which is the Sterling Hwy traffic light, and turn left onto the Sterling Hwy. Stay on the Sterling until you come to milepost 58. The sign says Skilak Lake Road ( careful not to take Skilak Lake road just past Bings Landing) You will turn right just after this at the Jim’s Landing sign. Go 100yds and turn left to the launch.


KASILOF RIVER BOAT LAUNCH:

From Alaska Hooksetters: Travel time is 30 minutes. Turn right onto K-Beach. Stay on K-Beach approx. 16 miles until it dead ends into Sterling Hwy and turn right. Stay on Sterling Hwy; you will cross the Kasilof River Bridge just past Rockys Cafe. Turn left at the first left (about 100-200 yds.) once you cross the bridge. Spetz Road. Kasilof River Launch is an immediate left. Parking is $5 . Just walk down to the boat launch to meet your guide.


PILLARS BOAT LAUNCH:

Pillars Launch Directions (Google Maps)

From Alaska Hooksetters: Travel time is 30 minutes. Take a right on K-Beach to the first traffic light, which is Bridge Access Rd, and turn right. Stay on Bridge Access until you come to Beaver Loop Rd where you will turn right. Beaver Loop dead ends into the Kenai Spur Hwy, where you will turn right. You’ll go about 2 miles, and you will see a sign that says “Pillars State Park”. Its Silver Salmon Dr. Turn right and follow the signs to the dock parking area. There is a $5 parking fee.


SEWARD: Travel time is two hours. Turn left onto K-Beach, and go to the second traffic light, which is the Sterling Hwy traffic light, and turn left onto the Sterling Hwy. Continue on the Sterling for 58 miles where it ends at the Seward Hwy. Turn right. Continue 36 miles.


SPORTSMANS LANDING/RUSSIAN RIVER FERRY: Travel time is 60 minutes. Turn left onto K-Beach, and go to the second traffic light, which is the Sterling Hwy traffic light, and turn left onto the Sterling Hwy. Stay on the Sterling Hwy, past Upper Skilak Lake Road. You will start to follow the river on your right. Watch for Public Parking Lot on Right $15 parking.


TANNERS FISH PROCESSING in Ninilchik: You will drop your fish off at tanners daily and get a receipt. That way you know you are getting your  fish.

HI-LO CHARTERS & RIVERSIDE LODGE Our 2019 Kenai King charters and lower Kenai River Silver charters will launch from our docks at Hi Lo Fishing (one of our lodges). The launch time is 5:30 Am for King charters. Park in the lot next to the lodge and walk to the dock.
